Day 1 - Villes sur Auzon - Sault

Your escape around the Ventoux starts in Villes sur Auzon. This small village is perched in the middle of the Comtat Venaissin plain and its vineyards.

Explore this typical Provencal village and its fortified remains before taking the road to the Gorges de la Nesques via Monieux to reach Sault. Allow time to stop along the gorges to observe the Rocher du Cire from the Castelleras belvedere.

Day 2 - Sault - Malaucène

Before getting back on the road, visit the 12th century Romanesque church and the remains of the feudal chateau.

You can also stroll through the streets of Sault between its medieval houses, typical terraces and artisan craft stores.

Get back in the saddle to leave the plateau of Sault and its lavender fields, heading for the Toulourenc Valley and its views of Mont Ventoux.

Continue your journey, crossing the villages of Aurel, Savoillans and Saint-Léger du Ventoux to reach Malaucène, your staging point for the night.

Day 3 - Malaucène - Villes Sur Auzon

The fortified Malaucène will amaze you!
Enjoy the morning climbing to “Calvaire” to enjoy a panoramic view of this beautiful village with Mont Ventoux in the background.
In the village, the fortified church of Saint Michel, erected in 1309, is also worth a look.
Setting off on the picturesque roads of Provence, follow the Dentelles de Montmirail and its limestone cliffs as you pass by the village of Suzette. Continue to Caromb, Modena, Crillon-le-Brave, Bédoin, Flassan and finally arrive in Villes sur Auzon.
