Bastia Saint Florent

Day 1 - Bastia - Saint Florent

The main gateway to the island, the city of flagstone roofs stretches from north to south around its old port, where the citadel watches over the ‘ville haut’, Terra Nova. Stroll through the maze of narrow, wind-ing streets of Terra Vecchia, the old town, enjoying the lively atmosphere of Place Saint-Nicolas and Place du Marché, and don’t forget to swing by the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church. Finally, drive across the Cap Corse to admire the landscapes and reach Saint-Florent, where you will spend the night.

Day 2 - Saint Florent - Saint Florent

Arriving in the capital of Nebbio, wander through the winding lanes, lined with colourful houses, and the small oleander flower-filled squares of the old town. Sample the relaxing atmosphere of Place des Portes before heading to the Citadel to walk along its ram-parts. For water sport enthusiasts, the beaches of Saint-Florent, such as Roya, will meet all expecta-tions!

MyTripTailor Advice: after the citadel gateway, don’t miss the surprising view of old houses built at the water’s edge.
